Understand this powerful interactional issue
In healthcare, good communication is paramount; yet few healthcare professionals are taught about how communication can become dysfunctional. One of the main interactional problems that we can encounter is the drama triangle - a persistent dysfunctional interaction that can leave healthcare professionals and their patients feeling stuck, vulnerable, attacked, or fearful.
In this course, we take a deep dive into the origins and applications of the drama triangle; common situations where it can occur and how to remove yourself from a drama triangle if you find yourself in one.
This is designed as the most comprehensive course to explore the drama triangle for health professionals and to equip you with the skills you need to avoid toxic, problematic, and difficult interactions with peers, patients, and colleagues.
