Twelve Complex Cases

In medicine, we often learn information in separate chunks - how to communicate, how to time manage, how to deal with challenging situations, how to be assertive, and how to take care of our own wellbeing.

However, our most productive learning takes place when we integrate our knowledge and understanding.

This course uses 12 challenging clinical cases to explore how we can tackle complex issues in clinical care, e.g. how to balance time management with effective communication, or how to use motivational interviewing when a patient doesn't want to engage.

In this ambitious course, I will explore how we can use our skills to best advantage to overcome some of the most challenging cases you may encounter over a lifetime of clinical work.
